BREATH

Jane obtained her PhD from Yale University in Chemical Engineering doing research that emphasized links between analytical chemistry and microbiological processes. Prior to this, she ran a consulting company that focused on conducting environmental assessments and remediation of contaminated sites. The consulting work built out from her technical MBA and undergraduate Engineering degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Jane has authored over 60 papers and is the Canadian Research Chair of Breath Science and Technologies at the University of British Columbia. Her team specializes in the discovery and clinical validation of biomarkers of infectious diseases.
