Scope
The International Association of Breath Research organizes a biennial series of international conferences on breath research. The 2022 IABR Breath Summit represent a melting pot of ideas, individuals, teams, and organisations fostering breath research progress. The summit is a friendly yet stimulating atmosphere in which clinicians, chemists, physicists, biologists, engineers, and data analysts engage and product developers and companies show their latest devices.
As the official journal of the IABR, JBR is pleased to present a dedicated special issue in partnership with the 2022 IABR Breath Summit, showcasing original research presented at the conference.
Submission process
Special issue articles are subject to the same review process and high standard as regular Journal of Breath Research articles and should be submitted in the same way.
Articles should be submitted using our online submission form. Where the form asks for 'Article Type' please select 'Special issue article'. Then select " Special collection from IABR Breath Summit 2022" in the 'Special Issue' drop down box that appears.

All authors submitting to this collection are required to reference how they participated in the IABR Breath Summit in their cover letter. Only authors who presented/participated in the conference will have their articles considered for inclusion in this special collection.
The articles listed below are the first accepted contributions to the collection and further additions will appear on an ongoing basis.
Deadline for submissions
Submissions will be accepted until 30 November 2022 however submissions earlier than this date are encouraged. JBR will publish this focus collection incrementally, adding new articles to this webpage as and when they are accepted for publication following peer review. Therefore, if you submit early in the period your article will not be held up waiting for other articles.
